So, guess what we found at a dumpster? A vintage bass synthesizer! It is a Crumar CPB-2 bass synth from the early 80s. It features a full octave of keys, a volume and sustain wheels, a tuning knob, and a bunch of filter and waveform options. You can adjust the envelope, cutoff, and resonance, all sorts of stuff.
It was a little dirty upon first use, and had some missing knobs and scratchy pots, After a quick disassemble, a thorough cleaning, and replacing of the cutoff potentiometer, it was good to go!
